Carr, who has helmed the Raiders since 2014 and has never played fewer than 15 games at quarterback for Las Vegas, was asked the inevitable question about the Brady rumors and if he was now immune to them. He was fairly glib in his response.
“By now, I would hope so,” Carr said, per Raiders.com. “I mean, it is what it is.”
The fires of this particular rumor were stoked by people cross-referencing White’s timeline with Brady derisively saying “you’re sticking with that motherf—–” in a viral clip from “The Shop.”

Carr, however, seems ready to move on.
“It really doesn’t matter,” he said, per Pro Football Talk.
It looks like it’s moving in that direction. This offseason, Carr signed a three-year, $121.5 million extension with the Raiders that features a no-trade clause. The deal had $65.3 million guaranteed, which means any questions about Carr’s future with the Raiders, at least for now, are just window dressing.
Carr has thrown for 31,700 yards with the Raiders in his career, along with 193 touchdowns and 85 interceptions. His career completion percentage is 65 percent even. The Raiders went 10-7 and clinched a playoff spot last year, but they didn’t make it out of Wild Card Weekend as they were beaten by the eventual AFC Champion Bengals.
