Rodman wants to return to North Korea, but because of the current situation involving American detainee Kenneth Bae.

Following his most recent visit, Rodman wrote a letter to Kim Jong-Un in which he pleaded for the release of the two men so Rodman could once again visit North Korea.

Rodman recently told TMZ that he was responsible for the release of Bae, which took place this past weekend, and even provided the letter he wrote asking for the release of the prisoners.

“No doubt, our trips helped influence Kenneth Bae’s release and I’m happy he is coming home safely,” Rodman told TMZ.

U.S. officials have yet to detail how Bae’s release was secured, but if Rodman played a role in it, which we highly doubt, he may deserve that Nobel Peace Prize he thinks he should get.

Bae had served two years in a North Korean prison for alleged anti-government activities.
