Cousins and Bledsoe, teammates for a year at Kentucky, squared off in the 2009 Alabama Class 5A semifinals. Bledsoe’s Parker High School beat Cousins’ LeFlore squad, 53-39.
Bledsoe was in his hometown of Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday for a back to school rally, AL.com reported. He donated school supplies to 300 children in the area during the day and played hoops at night. Bledsoe and Cousins were set to be on opposite teams.
There’s no official boxscore, but Cousins’ Twitter account draws out some details.
