Stenson was informed after his round finished that everything he left behind in the house was gone, including his supply of clothes for the week.
The Swede had to get his sponsor Hugo Boss to send him an emergency supply of clothes before his tee time Friday afternoon.
The burglars wiped out the house, but perhaps didn’t get the main item they wanted. Stenson, who had possession of the Open trophy, returned the Claret Jug on Monday.
