The stop in Boston was part of Tosh’s “The Great Nor’easter Tour of 2015.” This kind of move is what you expect out of Tosh’s act. He likely got a mix of boos, laughs and groans, and then continued with jokes that produced a similar reaction.

Hernandez was found guilty of first-degree murder in April. He is serving a life sentence in prison without parole.
