Fells posted a video on his Instagram account with the caption, “Back where I’m supposed to be. Thanks for all the love and support everyone.” In the video, he walks up some stairs on crutches when his kids hear him and get excited upon his return.

Fells’ situation was scary for a while. There was talk he might lose his foot and that the infection was spreading to his lungs. Thankfully, doctors were able to stop the infection from spreading and were able to save his foot.

He still has a long way to go before he’s fully recovered. He’ll have nurses and a physical therapist keep an eye on him while he’s home. While he still has some obstacles to overcome, he has to be happy knowing his children are nearby and he’s not lying in a hospital bed.
