While the GPI World Poker Rankings takes into account a players’ results from the past three seasons, the PoY race, obviously, looks at results from 2014 exclusively.

Smith has been playing lights out since last December when he won the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the famed Bellagio on the Las Vegas stirp. Smith has added over $3M to his career totals in that time.
