On Monday, Lillard blasted professional TV nonsense merchant Skip Bayless after the Fox Sports 1 host said he didn’t believe in the Trail Blazers point guard. Lillard alluded to a private conversation he had with Bayless in which Bayless acted far less tough than he does as a commentator.

“I’m still not buying “Dame Time” and apparently the Clippers aren’t either,” Bayless tweeted early on Monday.

Lillard has been riding high on an individual level of late as he tries to drag Portland into the playoffs. He scored 51 points in a 124-121 win over the 76ers on Sunday, three days after dropping 45 in a win over the Nuggets.
Entering Monday, the Trail Blazers were a half-game out of the No. 8 spot in the Western Conference. They’ll finish the season with games against the Mavericks and Nets, currently listed as 7-seeds in the Western and Eastern conferences, respectively.
Portland is 4-2 during the NBA’s restart in Orlando.
