Crew chief Greg Ives wanted Earnhardt to adjust the track bar, thus altering the position of the rear axle in relation to the car’s center line. Earnhardt responded, “I can’t fix it all in here.”

Earnhardt’s temper wasn’t the only thing heated on Sunday. Alex Bowman’s No. 7 car caught fire around the front left tire, bringing the race to a screeching halt.

Kyle Busch led the final 49 laps to capture the checkered flag at the “Magic Mile,” his third win in the past four Sprint Cup races.
