Rhodes won five races on his way to the regional series title. He also made four Camping World Truck Series starts with one top-five and three top-10 finishes.

“I couldn’t think of a better group of people to surround myself with to continue my growth in the sport,” Rhodes said in a news release.

Earnhardt is ready to see what the young driver can do.

Rhodes will be sponsored by Alpha Energy Solutions for his 10 races in the No. 88 car, which also will be driven by Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne and Earnhardt during the year. Dave Elenz will be the crew chief.

Rhodes will compete at stand-alone events at Iowa (twice), Chicagoland, Mid-Ohio, Road America and Kentucky. He also will compete at New Hampshire, Watkins Glen, Dover (October) and Homestead.
