We know there will be good performances from other pitchers on this list, but aside from Jon Gray, Robert Gsellman, Luis Severino and maybe Eduardo Rodriguez, you’re not going to find many Ks (unless you want to trust Francisco Liriano, who lasted just a third of an inning in his first start).

Because there aren’t many good all-around options, even of the boom-or-bust variety, the best strategies are probably going with Bumgarner or Darvish or simply trying to get a win (Jordan Zimmermann, Brett Anderson, Rodriguez are your best bets).
