Normally, I like a good 10-game slate in daily fantasy baseball. Tonight, though, it’s a real strange setup, as we get a group of ragtag pitchers to go along with just about all of the grind-it-out boring offenses in MLB.

Max Scherzer headlines the pitching for tonight, but even he is in a difficult situation going up against the red-hot Cubs. It’s not that I believe the Cubs will get to Scherzer or even that he won’t pitch fine, but one a donkey slate like this, I have a very hard time paying up for a pitcher that put up a lousy 15 points the last time he faced off againt Chicago. For me, I prefer to go with Zack Greinke tonight, as nobobdy likes to own him at home, so we should get a proper ownership (around 20-25 percent) on him in GPP this evening.
