Also in front of Kluber, Zack Godley and Marcus Stroman have been racking up strikeouts and going deep into games, and they both are in a good situations with their respective matchups tonight.  Kluber faces the Red Sox, who don’t strike out much.  Although he can easily rack them up, it’s not always a guarantee, and tonight might be a night he doesn’t rack them up. Drew Pomeranz, Luis Severino and Rich Hill are in the same boat as Kluber.

For deep value relief, Matt Moore has unexpectedly had back-to-back in impressive outings, and he faces a great matchup against strikeout-heavy Brewers. Moore has a chance to be dominant or fall apart like he has most of the year. Two other salary-relief pitchers include Luke Weaver and Jhoulys Chacin.

We have a 13-game main slate tonight. Currently, the weather looks good for all games. Roughly 10 teams are projected to score over five runs, with the Red Sox, Tigers, and Padres checking in with the lowest projected run totals for tonight’s slate.

For two-pitcher sites, the pricing continues to allow for the opoprtuity to pair a top pitcher with a value one. Hitting-wise is also pretty wide open tonight. There are plenty of pitchers worth picking on, which means we can target just as many elite hitters as those that are up against poor pitching that may not be as elite on a daily basis. As we have seen over the past few weeks, though, targeting the top projected teams does not always work out.

During the end of the season, I am much more a fan of GPPs than cash games. The Playbook covers a selction of both cash, and gpp options, but not all players in great spots are listed. The coaches and stack pieces are great tools to use in order to receive a fuller picture of any slate. Good luck! – Ben Scherr
