On the unfavorable matchup side, we have Jacob Faria at the Yankees and Lance Lynn vs. the Diamondbacks. Both can put up big numbers, but the matchups will likely steer many in other directions.

If available in your contests, Hyun-jin Ryu is an interesting option thanks to a favorable matchup against the Giants. He’s unlikely to go deep into the game, but he can pitch well enough to get a K per inning and a win. Eduardo Rodriguez is a boom-or-bust guy who hasn’t found his rhythm since coming off the DL, while John Lackey is lower-upside guy who has been pitching well since his injury. The Brewers are in the top two in strikeout percentage against righties, so Lackey has a little more upside than usual.

Sunday’s DFS MLB main slate will feature 11 games on DraftKings and 10 games on FanDuel. This will mean that the Playbook will take in account for the first 11 games of today’s slate.

Last night was definitely a weird slate that had an 11.5 O/U game combine for just four runs and the Nationals getting shut down by German Marquez, but we were able to grind through it in our cash games with some consistent production throughout the lineup.

Today’s slate is will be much different than Saturday’s in the sense that we won’t be rostering a super expensive pitcher like Corey Kluber because of the lack of quality options available. There’s not one pitcher who I feel incredibly confident in, so it’ll be extra important to go through all of the options and work your way through those options as you construct your lineups.

Like last night, weather should not be an issue, so there gladly won’t be any external factors affecting what we’re doing with our lineups. – Kenneth Le
