James Paxton has pitched at an ace-level at times this year, but a tough matchup against Boston makes him better suited for GPPs. Conversely, Gerrit Cole has had his struggles this season, but a favorable matchup against the Giants has him on the radar in both cash and GPPs.

If you’re dipping down into the bargain bin, Hyun-jin Ryu (foot), fresh off the DL, has to be a consideration given his matchup. The Twins aren’t bad against lefties, but a head-to-head matchup against Bartolo Colon gives Ryu a great shot at a win.

Monday provides us with a 12-game slate tonight. It feels very much like a stars-and-scrubs night for hitting with Jacob deGrom leading the way pitching wise. There are plenty of poor pitchers to take advange tonight. We only have one game that features both pitchers with winning records (Eduardo Rodriguez-James Paxton). Feel free to ask any questions or share your thoughts on tonight’s slate in the forums. Good luck! – Ben Scherr
