Another piece of strategy: If you’re going to, say, stack Tigers today, then it’s a reasonable tactic to use Detroit’s pitcher (Anibal Sanchez) and hope for a win. We don’t necessarily recommend using Sanchez, but if you’re going to pay up for Detroit’s big sticks, you might need a value pitcher.
