As you might expect, both the Pirates and Rockies offer stacking opportunities for their game in Denver, and the Astros are right there with them for their game against lefty Martin Perez. With the Cardinals and White Sox also facing lefties tomorrow, you can mine both clubs for splits-based stacks, but you’re probably just as well off going for Nationals against Miguel Gonzalez, Yankees against Jhoulys Chacin, or Marlins against Ervin Santana. All of these teams have plenty of guys who hit well against mediocre righthanded pitchers.

If you’re going to include the late Indians-Mariners game in your tournaments, be careful with Seattle lefties even though they’re facing a righty. Josh Tomlin is known for giving up homers, but he’s much more accommodating to righthanded hitters.

AFTERNOON GAMES
Red = 1B; Orange = 2B; Yellow = 3B; Green = SS; Blue = OF; Purple = C
Rangers 1B Prince Fielder is having a tough year, but in his limited at-bats against Collin McHugh, he’s seen the ball extremely well, going 8-for-11.
Catcher Evan Gattis, 2B Jose Altuve, and OF George Springer all have OPS’s north of 1.000 against LHPs this year, and OF Carlos Gomez (.921) isn’t far behind. Along with SS Carlos Correa, you can put together a nice Astros stack against Martin Perez.
Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado (1.035 OPS), OF Ryan Raburn (.870), and SS Trevor Story (.862) are all hitting lefties well this year, and OF Charlie Blackmon (.286/.380/.476) has actually been great against southpaws, too. All four are in play against Jeff Locke.
Chad Bettis has allowed a .339/.392/.559 line to righthanded hitters in Colorado during his career, so even though most of Pittsburgh’s key righties (OF Andrew McCutchen, 3B Jung-ho Kang, OF Starling Marte, 2B Josh Harrison, etc.) smash lefties, you can still roll with them today.

EARLY EVENING GAMES
Reds 1B Joey Votto has never solved Adam Wainwright in his career (7-for-37).
With Brandon Finnegan on the mound, OF Stephen Piscotty (1.045 career OPS vs. LHPs) is almost a must-play, and SS Aledmys Diaz also has more upside than usual given his stellar professional track record against lefties. Recently activated 3B Jhonny Peralta is also very much in play, as he’s put up an .851 OPS vs. LHPs since the start of 2013.
White Sox 3B Todd Frazier (.912 OPS) and 2B Brett Lawrie (.831) have been hitting well against lefties since the start of last year, and OF Adam Eaton (.859) is really killing them this year after posting respectable reverse-platoon numbers in the past (career .293 hitter).
LATE EVENING GAME
Red = 1B; Orange = 2B; Yellow = 3B; Green = SS; Blue = OF; Purple = C
Since the start of 2013, Josh Tomlin has drastically different splits against lefties (.217/.236/.391) and righties (.280/.310/.506). Adjust accordingly with your Mariners hitters, giving more consideration to OF Nelson Cruz and 1B Dae-Ho Lee.
