-Cincinnati's Jay Bruce is 12-for-35 (.343) with two homers and nine RBIs against Milwaukee's Yovani Gallardo.

-John Lackey has allowed three earned runs or less in his past four starts against Oakland. He has 16 Ks in 25.2 innings in those starts.

-It's a small sample, but San Francisco's Brandon Belt is 4-for-6 against Atlanta's Julio Teheran.

Sell ‘Em

-Chicago's Dayan Viciedo is 0-for-14 with six strikeouts against Cleveland's Justin Masterson. Viciedo has reached base one time on a walk.

-You won't bench Andrew McCutchen, but it's worth knowing he's 1-for-14 (.071) against Toronto knuckleballer R.A. Dickey.

-Detroit's Austin Jackson is just 2-for-13 with four strikeouts against Kansas City's Danny Duffy. Jackson has three walks.

-Washington's Ian Desmond is just 1-for-10 against Philadelphia's A.J. Burnett.

Buy ‘Em

- Brett Gardner is 11-for-31 (.355) with three doubles and a triple in his career against John Lackey.

- Twins Jason Kubel and Brian Dozier are a combined 15-for-39 (.385) with five doubles and two homers against James Shields.

- Rickie Weeks could be a sneaky play; he's 7-for-19 (.368) with a double and two homers lifetime against Edinson Volquez.

- Curtis Granderson is 10-for-27 (.370) with five homers in his career against Jered Weaver, who gave up four bombs in his last start.

- Troy Tulowitzki is 19-for-58 (.328) with five doubles, four homers and a triple against the homer-prone Matt Cain.

- David Ortiz is 10-for-17 with four doubles and a homer against Hiroki Kuroda.

- Matt Holliday is 5-for-16 (.313) with three homers lifetime against Carlos Villanueva.
