D-backs closer Brad Ziegler was not with the team Tuesday following the birth of his child. It’s unclear when he’ll rejoin the club, but Daniel Hudson is expected to handle save chances while Ziegler is away.
Angels reliever Joe Smith (ankle) expects to be available Wednesday and should fill in for closer Huston Street, who’s sidelined with a groin injury.
