Thursday’s ultra-light MLB schedule starts at 1:10 p.m. ET with the White Sox-Twins in Minnesota, but that’s the only afternoon game of the day. You can forget about that one for DFS purposes, and with only five more games the rest of the night (four starting between 7:05 and 8:40, one at 10:10), it’s going to be a strange day of fantasy baseball. Good luck in all your daily fantasy baseball contests!

Saves Sleepers
Kevin Jepsen was on the hill for Minnesota in a save situation on Wednesday because Glen Perkins was once again dealing with a sore back. Jepsen nailed down the save with a perfect inning, and he’ll continue closing if Perkins remains out. It’s entirely possible that Jepsen keeps the job for the rest of the season at the rate Perkins is going, but both need to be owned for the time being.
Shawn Tolleson was given Wednesday night off after a taxing outing on Tuesday. Sam Dyson closed out his own win with a two-inning outing spanning the ninth and 10th innings. Tolleson should be back in there the next time Texas has a save situation.
Weather Watch
It should be another clear day around the league, so enjoy it while it lasts.
