We have a true split slate today with a seven-game early slate (1:05 PM  ET roster lock) to go with a seven-game evening slate (7:05 PM ET roster lock). Note: We are not including the earliest game between the Braves-Reds because the main sites are not including the game in their main slate.

I don’t know how you guys feel about split slates, but success ultimately depends on the type of player you are. Do you prefer a bigger player pool or smaller? There’s also the fact that you may want to devote more attention to one slate and only play that slate. In general, more attention is given to the later slate, so there’s going to be more dead money in the earlier contests.

For the most part, weather shouldn’t be an issue, but this is me talking over 12 hours prior to roster lock. There will be rain forecasted in Chicago, but those storms should clear out of Wrigleyville eventually.
