Karl Towns Sr. and Tee Morant, the fathers of Karl-Anthony Towns and Ja Morant, have provided plenty of courtside entertainment. During Tuesday night’s Game 2, the dads were right back at it with NBA TV sideline reporter Chris Haynes.

Karl Towns Sr. joked about Grizzlies fans leaving early after holding a big lead before Tee Morant playfully reminded him of the Grizzlies’ popular playoff catchphrase: “We ain’t duckin’ no smoke.”

If the Grizzlies win the series, Towns Sr. will have to wear a Ja Morant jersey, while Tee Morant will have to rock a Karl-Anthony Towns jersey if the Timberwolves pull off the upset.

As it stands, the series is tied at 1-1 after the Grizzlies bounced back in Game 2 with a 124-96 victory at FedEx Forum, led by 23 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds from Morant. Towns finished with a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double.

The series will now shift to Minnesota for Games 3 and 4. Fans of both teams should expect more sideline antics from the two supportive dads.
