October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Mayweather Jr. has caught flak since 2012 regarding his own alleged domestic violence. The undefeated pugilist has also spoke out in support of Ray Rice, who was cut from the Baltimore Ravens in wake of a domestic violence issue involving his then-fiance.
