Canada’s national championship is set to be played at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club. The tournament was been around since 1973, and was considered to be a major championship from 1979 to 2000. 

Jin Young Ko is not only entering the competition as No. 1 in the world, but also is the reigning champion from 2019. She finished with a total score of 262, which was 26-under par and five strokes better than the next golfer.

How to watch the CP Women’s Open

The CP Women’s Open is available to watch in the United States on the Golf Channel for the first three days, then will be available on CBS. You can also stream on Peacock or on fuboTV (free trial). 

In Canada, it will be available on TSN and RDS for the French-speaking audience. You can stream it on TSN.ca or in the TSN app. 

CP Women’s Open purse 2022

The LPGA announced that the purse for the CP Women’s Open would be the most it has ever been at. The total prize money available to be handed out comes to $2.35 million. It previously was $2.25 million from 2014 to 2019.

The winner of the tournament is rewarded with a purse of $352,500. That is up from the previous winner’s share, which was $337,500 from 2014 to 2019.
