MORE: Cowboys’ biggest draft regret will make you sick

Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reports there is a “growing sense” within the Cowboys organization that the team is serious about taking a QB and will consider taking him with the fourth overall pick.

According to Cole, people within the organization believe the Cowboys will not have a high pick in the draft anytime soon after this year. Cole lists North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz and Cal’s Jared Goff as potential fits in Dallas.

A contrarian view within the organization considers a defensive lineman or running back as a much greater need. Ohio State stars Joey Bosa and Ezekiel Elliott have been linked to the Cowboys for that reason.

Cornerback Jalen Ramsey, linebacker Myles Jack and defensive end DeForest Buckner are also potential fits for the Cowboys, who have needs at each position.
