Jones, 72, had his right hip replaced Sept. 4, according to the Dallas Morning News. He had the same surgery on his left hip just six weeks earlier.

Jones’ hips had been bothering him over the past year, and he was seen limping at times. He had the surgeries so close together per the recommendation of his doctor.

Jones’ family told the Morning News he’s “doing great” and will be in his suite during the Cowboys’ game against the Giants on Sunday night.
