The Star, set to open Sunday, is the team’s new, $1.5 billion (yes, with a B) headquarters that takes up 91 acres. It includes a shopping center, restaurants, a 16-story hotel and more. It is absurd.
The domed practice facility that is The Ford Center is absurd in itself, and team owner Jerry Jones is nice enough to share. All eight Frisco high schools that have varsity football teams will play in a quadrupleheader to begin their 2016 seasons, according to DallasNews.com.

“Something no kid could ever imagine playing in,” Frisco ISD athletic director David Kuykendall said of the facility, which seats 12,000 people.
WFAA.com outlined more features of the practice facility, as well as The Star in its entirety. The Ford Center is encircled by a video ribbon. It features chair-back seats, not bleachers. It will host concerts, too.
“This just totally has blown me away in terms of what we can do,” Jones said last month, via WFAA. “This area will be a template and an example far beyond Frisco — all over the country.”
