A smooth, 6-6 scorer with room to grow, Mack was seen as an impressive signing coup for the Rams before Smart departed for Austin. Now Smart can use the skilled wing as an immediate impact player in the Big 12 next season.

The Dreher High School (S.C.) star chose the Longhorns over Clemson, Georgia and Kansas, after initially choosing VCU over 18 other scholarship offers in November of 2014. He averaged nearly 30 points per game this past season in leading Dreher to the third round of the South Carolina 3A playoffs while earning AAA Co-Player of the Year honors.
