Buck was arrested Tuesday after an unnamed man, who survived an overdose earlier this month, was allegedly injected by Buck against his will. Buck was charged with felony counts including administering methamphetamine, maintaining a drug house and battery causing serious injury. On Thursday, prosecutors added one count of distribution of methamphetamine resulting in death, alleging Buck’s responsibility in the death of Moore. According to a report from Out, multiple sources had claimed Buck was about to be charged in the deaths of both Moore and another man, Timothy Dean, who died earlier this year....

Sarah Groh, an aide to Pressley, posted a picture of a sign hanging outside the politician’s office in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday that read “Our office stands with Chrissy Teigen.” The public standoff between Trump and Teigen began Sunday evening, when Trump took aim at the TV personality and her husband, grammy award winning singer John Legend. In his tirade, the president described the musician as “boring” and Teigen as “filthy mouthed” after the two appeared on an MSNBC show on criminal justice reform....

On Saturday, Connolly appeared in a video message on MSNBC’s The Cross Connection advocating for the change after he introduced legislation to remove the former FBI director’s name on February 25. “I introduced [legislation] to form a national commission to rename the J. Edgar Hoover building…we need to do this because frankly, J. The Change Research/CNBC poll said President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic was having a strong impact on voter opinion—especially in swing states like Arizona, Michigan and North Carolina. “Approval of Trump’s COVID response has never been lower in the battleground [states] and nationally,” the poll said. More than half of the voters polled thought the president was making decisions that contributed to the surge in new virus cases reported by several states in recent weeks, the pollsters said....

Hennepin County Judge Peter Cahill will hand down Chauvin’s sentence on Friday with proceedings expected to begin at around 1.30 p.m. CDT (2.30 p.m. EDT), according to Minnesota Public Radio (MPR).
