Two of today’s better options might actually be guys who started the season in their respective bullpens. Houston’s Brad Peacock has struck out 25 over 15 innings in his three starts this year and pitched six innings in his last outing. Toronto’s Joe Biagini, who’s allowed just three runs while striking out 13 in his past two starts, is fully stretched out now, so he shouldn’t be on any workload restrictions....

The top nine players in our SP rankings can all put up big performances. Brad Peacock and Marco Estrada both have K/9 ratios over 10.1 this year, so they could even potentially keep pace with the very best arms on a good day. The players further down the list all come with risks, but Jason Hammel is potentially interesting despite a tough matchup with Boston. He’s allowed just five runs while posting a 15:1 K-to-BB ratio over his past three outings....

Robbie Ray is the top non-Kershaw pitcher despite starting in hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park, and Brad Peacock is a close second. Both could easily match or surpass Kershaw’s strikeout totals while putting up zeroes in the run column. Mike Clevinger is a solid option, too, given his strikeout potential and favorable matchup. A little further down the list, Sean Newcomb is a boom-or-bust option who could rack up some Ks, but a tough matchup with the Cubs hurts his cause....

There are two games that worry us from a weather perspective.
