The original poster (OP) began his story by explaining that he has been planning on taking his family to Hawaii to renew vows with his wife for their 25th anniversary. He said he’s been saving up for 10 years for the trip. He decided he wanted to pay for his kids and a plus-one—their significant others—to go with them and is also paying for his mom, stepdad and mother-in-law....

In the post, which has nearly 17 thousand likes, the user described himself as a 38-year-old male with a 16-year-old daughter. The man said he married his new wife, Suze, 35, last year after being together for five years, and his daughter and new wife have frequent clashes. The man said his daughter Anna, “… is a good kid, responsible, kind and helps around, but she’s overall an introvert who doesn’t like to be around people that much and enjoys her time alone in her room while Suze is the opposite, she loves socializing, doing stuff with the people she loves, etc....

But while his inspired creation delighted his kids and their friend, some on social media expressed concern about exposing children to weapons of this kind. The video, posted to Twitter by ActionMovieKid, aka Daniel Hashimoto, a dad of two who works in visual effects, has been viewed over 6 million times - but not all of the comments accompanying the post have been positive. One viewer said it was “kinda horrific when you think what a real flamethrower can do to a human” while another accused them of glorifying “one of the most horrific weapons of war....

A screenshot of the dad’s message, which he originally posted on Facebook, was shared on Twitter earlier this week. It’s since gone viral, amassing thousands of replies and retweets, sparking a larger conversation about child labor and capitalist ideals. “HUGE shout out to this kid of mine, 14 years old and has a PT job at Burger King,” wrote the dad in his Facebook post. He added that his son “[works] every day he can including weekends when most kids are out enjoying their summer” and “goes in early and stays late almost every time he works....

Tuesday’s slate features a bunch of aces and upper-tier No. 2’s, but there are still a lot of favorable matchups for hitters thanks to some mediocre lefties and righties with notable handedness splits. There are also plenty of stacking opportunities for the early evening games, most notably the Blue Jays, Marlins, Tigers, Indians, and Astros. You can also simply opt for Rockies, Yankees, and Giants, all of whom are facing mediocre righties....

Our favorite stacks in the afternoon are the Rockies and D-backs (of course) and the Reds and Padres. The Rays are probably the best under-the-radar stack, and you can bet there will be plenty of Cubs stacks against rookie Paul Clemens.
