For the second straight night, the best numbers-driven stacks are in the late games, with the Rockies, D-backs, Rays, and Giants offering up some interesting options. For the early slate, the Red Sox and White Sox have some good choices, including a couple reverse-platoon plays, which is always a good strategy if you’re trying to set your team apart. Before we get to the plays, I must ask: Why does it feel like I only write on Coors’ slates? Don’t get me wrong, I love stacking teams playing in Colorado as much as anyone, but you all don’t need me to tell you to play guys when they are in Colorado. I always feel obligated to mention them, as they usually are amongst the top plays, but there has to be a balance so I don’t just write up an all-Coors article....

If you want to go with a high-strikeout stud – always a good strategy in cash games – you have Yu Darvish and Stephen Strasburg. If you want to go with a slightly riskier pitcher (read: cheaper) with plenty of upside, you have Felix Hernandez, Marcus Stroman and Steven Matz, among others. If you really want to go risky with a volatile high-K pitcher, you have Daniel Norris, Trevor Bauer, and even Blake Snell and Carlos Rodon – the latter two of which are making their first major league starts in a while....

Get ready for a high-scoring night in DFS. The combination of a few aces in great matchups and A LOT of terrible pitchers on the mound tonight should equal a lot of points, so let’s figure out how to you can get a big slice of the pie. The Carter County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to NBC affiliate WCYB5 that the family was on a plane that crashed at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Tennessee’s Carter County. The plane, which landed at 3:38 p.m., was carrying Dale and Amy Earnhardt, their one-year-old daughter Isla Rose and the family dog, ESPN reported. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the fiery crash, multiple reports said on Thursday....
