After three straight poor starts since his DL return, Dallas Keuchel finally looked like his old self, pitching 6.1 innings, one earned and seven strikeouts in his last start. He should pick up where he left off with a great matchup against the strikeout-prone A’s. Zack Godley has a favorable matchup against the Twins, and on paper, Drew Pomeranz should do well in strikeouts against the Yankees, but his track record against them so far this year has been mixed....

On the unfavorable matchup side, we have Jacob Faria at the Yankees and Lance Lynn vs. the Diamondbacks. Both can put up big numbers, but the matchups will likely steer many in other directions. If available in your contests, Hyun-jin Ryu is an interesting option thanks to a favorable matchup against the Giants. He’s unlikely to go deep into the game, but he can pitch well enough to get a K per inning and a win....

The early slate is highlighted by the return of Corey Kluber, who hasn’t pitched since May 2 because of a back injury. Kluber hadn’t been particularly sharp in his six starts this year (5.06 ERA), but his K-rate (9.9) and xFIP (3.68) suggest he’s not that far off from usual excellence. Even though there are other solid pitchers throwing in the afternoon (Chase Anderson, Adam Wainwright, Zack Wheeler, Brandon McCarthy), Kluber offers the most all-around upside even if he is on a slightly lowered pitch count....

Police from Harrison County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) received calls about a hunting accident at about 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. The victim has now been identified as Hallsville Junior High School student Daisy George after her parents agreed to publicly share her name, according to Fox 8.
